The Rectory of Vallcàrquera is a historic farmhouse built between the 16th and 18th centuries, where the rector of the parish of Sant Pere de Vallcàrquera resided. Completely renovated, it currently offers all the modern comforts while maintaining the charm of its origins. It preserves original elements such as the chapel where the rector officiated, the old refrigerator, the oven... elements that give the house a unique and welcoming atmosphere in the middle of the privileged natural environment of the Montseny Natural Park.

The surroundings:

The Vallcàrquera valley, located on the western slope of the Montseny massif, surrounds the Rectoria summer camp. It is characterized by a wooded landscape dominated by holm oak and Scots pine forests, with some chestnut and Scots pine forests in the depressions. At the bottom of the valley, agricultural fields break the continuity of the forests. The Vallcàrquera stream, or Riereta, flows into the Congost river. Its surroundings, rich in oak and hazel forests, are the most outstanding in the valley and show an excellent state of conservation thanks to its biodiversity of flora and fauna.
